The day was so warm I had to set aside my other priorities to hop down to Muscatatuck NWR to see the Sandhill cranes pass through.

For those of you in the wrong parts of the world to know what I’m talking about, I feel for you. A flock of Sandhills passing overhead is about as close to magic as the world gets, so here’s a taste.
